Focus on the Inner World#
Recently (March 2022), the pandemic has been quite severe. We have also discovered positive cases nearby. Schools have been closed. Just a few days ago, when confirmed cases were first discovered, the market that used to sell two to three hundred (in revenue) suddenly sold over seven hundred (in revenue) that day. So everyone can see that this wave of the pandemic is indeed quite serious.
Moreover, with the recent wars and economic issues, the elderly in the village are saying the world is going to end. The online world is also in chaos. Various conflicts are truly frightening. I have been attacked all day long. So I will avoid discussing politics, adopting an ostrich policy. Otherwise, it would be unnecessary to go crazy before disaster strikes. That said, your political stance does not represent everything else about you. Even Buddha saves those with fate, and other deities also save those with their own connections, so I won't humiliate myself by meddling in these matters. Regardless of whether the world ends, my world will definitely end. So before my world ends in this life, I will continue to play in the mud and dream! As long as my world does not perish, I will dream every day. The great and just task of making the world a better place can be set aside for now.

Methods to Increase Writing Output#
So I want to try something new, what to try? It must be to write more and have more spring dreams. Transforming from a hen that lays eggs once a month to one that lays eggs several times a week. I don't particularly like reprinting; my own writing may be like shit, but at least I won't be disdainful of it. At least what I produce is shit with independent intellectual property rights.
Low Yield of Feelings#
So what hormones do I need to eat to lay so many eggs in a week? Didn't Socrates claim to have the art of midwifery? A debate technique that is merciless and makes people awkward. I understand it as throwing bricks to attract jade. Let's not care about what Socrates said, let's see how to increase production. Pulling up seedlings is also a good method, haha. So how to pull up seedlings? Everything I write is based on feelings, which are the most unpredictable. However, this strong feeling that compels me to write comes only once a month, which is already a high frequency. But if I want to write several pieces a week, then I need to engage the logical thinking part.
Recording Subtle Feelings#
In life, there are often many feelings I want to record, those fleeting feelings that I generally jot down for collection. Due to their brevity and abstraction, they often cannot be formed into text. This causes me a lot of pain. The feelings I originally recorded become incomprehensible after a few days, and I can't recall them. So this time is about midwifing feelings. Extracting the original subtle feelings with logic.
Using Logical Thinking to Deepen the Understanding of Feelings#
I have found that pulling out what is inside me indeed increases my understanding of myself and the world. It's like having many vague crushes; you always miss the chance to pursue them. Now, we need to catch up with her and engage in some deep communication.

Postscript on the Art of Inspiration Midwifery#
The pandemic has ended, but the economic recession is even more severe, and the shadow of war looms ever closer.
Today, writing about the value and methods of reading, I need to emphasize that one should record inspirations while reading, which reminded me of this piece. Two years later, it can be said that the art of inspiration midwifery has triumphed. Most of the articles on this blog since then have adopted this method, and I am satisfied with it. It should be reset and shared with everyone.
