The purpose of writing is to showcase that it is not just a personal matter, nor is it just a means of exchanging information between individuals. It is the neurons of collective thinking for humanity as a whole. The various information generated by humans becomes the collective's various thoughts. Setting aside the collective, writing is actually a way of thinking. Whether there are people or not, we will always think as long as we are alive. Therefore, there is every reason for writing to continue to exist. However, the content and themes of writing will change. In my case, if no one reads it, I will definitely reduce my thoughts and writing about the collective. But in fact, there will never be a situation where no one reads an article, because articles are the carriers of thoughts, and thoughts are my tools for dealing with human society. So being read is just one aspect of it. More importantly, it is a shelter I have built for myself. Just like that ten-year-old blog domain on WordPress, it is meaningless to me. Even if an article exists for ten thousand years, it will eventually perish. But thinking will always exist. As Tagore said, "I have flown."
